    Men’s Ministry at Joshua’s Place is designed to build men of obedience to God through their relationship with Jesus Christ: first on a personal level, then effecting family, church, friends, employers and the workplace. Men of Destiny is the name given to our Men’s Ministry based on the life of Joshua and his statement of commitment from Joshua 24:15… “But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord”. The key word is “serve”. Our intent is that everything we do as a men’s ministry will grow the man into the spiritual servant leader God intends him to be. We are accountable to each other, we celebrate in good times, and are supportive in bad times. We build servant leaders through: Bible studies, fellowship, worship and accountability to one another. 

Purpose of the Mighty Men of Destiny Ministry:
1. Create a positive environment which encourages and develops Godly love for one another:   
"A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.”  John 13:34-35
2. Build up men in the Apostolic faith, with earnest prayer:
" But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit, keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.”  Jude 1:20-21
3. Help men serve as Godly examples in their home, job and the church:  
"And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men"   Colossians 3:23
4. Equip men to accomplish works of the ministry:
"And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ”   Ephesians 4:11-12
